Giovanna is a CBT therapist with over 7 years of experience working with individuals struggling with common mental health difficulties. She has worked in a variety of settings, including within the NHS, hospital environments and in private care.

In addition to her expertise in CBT, Giovanna holds a Master's degree in Psychodynamics theories and has also completed training in Schema Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) which allows her to offer a range of evidence-based approaches. She works closely with clients to understand where they are at, and where they hope to be to personalise a person-centred treatment plan.

Giovanna is also fluent in Italian, which is her first language. Her multicultural perspective has widened her understanding of differences in experiences, belief systems and values across different backgrounds. Her curious and sensitive approach helps clients feel comfortable and understood. She is passionate about helping individuals to improve their mental health to live a more fulfilling life, and committed to providing the highest quality of care. Giovanna can offer both short- and longer-term therapy depending on the clients' preferences.
